Privacy statement
This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics services. Web server access logs (IP address, time, requested page) are kept briefly for operational security and then deleted.
If you submit the demo request form, we use the details you provide solely to respond to your request. They are not passed on to third parties and are deleted once your request has been dealt with, unless a customer relationship follows.
Questions about data protection are answered by Juno Media GmbH at info@juno.ch.
The Masterdesk service
When you use Masterdesk as a customer, we process the documents you upload and everything derived from them — recognised text, page images, the names of people and organisations appearing in them, and business identifiers such as invoice or contract numbers — together with your account details (name, email address, password hash, two-factor secret) and a record of what you viewed and changed.
All of it is processed for one purpose: running the archive for you. Your documents are never used to train any model, ours or anybody else's, and they are never sold, rented or made available for advertising.
The service runs on hardware operated for this purpose in Switzerland. Documents are not passed to third parties, with two exceptions you control: automatic classification, which may send recognised text to a language-model provider, and the AI connector described below. Both are disclosed here and can be switched off.
Documents are kept until you delete them; deleted documents are removed from the archive, and their history entry remains so that the record of what happened stays complete. Access-log entries are kept for a limited period and then removed. Account records are deleted when the account is closed, subject to statutory retention periods.
You may ask us at any time what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it exported, or have it deleted. Within the application you can already see your own document history and access log. Write to info@juno.ch.
The AI connector
If you connect Masterdesk to an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, that assistant can call a fixed set of operations on your behalf. When it reads a document, that document's recognised text — or an image of the page — is transmitted to the operator of that assistant and becomes part of your conversation there, governed from that point by their terms and privacy policy.
Nothing is transmitted in advance and nothing is synchronised: only what an operation was asked for, at the moment it is asked for. The connector is off until an administrator enables it for the realm and grants it to you individually, every disclosure is written to the access log, and withdrawing the grant or removing the connector stops it at once.
The connector is documented in full on the AI connector page.
Terms of use
Masterdesk is provided by Juno Media GmbH to customers under a written agreement, which sets out the scope of the service, the fees and the term. These terms apply in addition to that agreement; where the two differ, the agreement prevails.
You remain the owner of the documents you store. We claim no right over them beyond what is needed to run the service for you, and we do not use them to train models or to advertise. You are responsible for having the right to store what you upload, for the accuracy of your account details, and for keeping your credentials and second factor to yourself.
Masterdesk is an archive and a search tool, not advice. Automatic classification and any AI assistant connected to it can be wrong; what they produce is a suggestion to be checked, and decisions taken on it remain yours. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and as set out in the agreement.
Swiss law applies, and the courts of Wollerau, Switzerland have jurisdiction.
